COVID and TIGERS

You think staying home because of the coronavirus is hard? In any scenario, confinement because of this disease is temporary.

The same can't be said for some exotic wild animals.

Today is International Tiger Day. There are over 5,000 tigers being kept captive in American homes right now. Depending upon the species, these magnificent animals will roam anywhere from 10 to almost 200 miles in the wild. Can you imagine having your ability to move throughout your entire life reduced from 200 miles to some human's backyard? Even the biggest private property can't accommodate those needs.

Exotic species were never meant to be pets. Sign petitions, write to your representatives, do whatever you can to pass laws against exotic pet ownership. And do not support those who put them on display purely for entertainment.
