Locked in? Look out.

You all know the drill. Mask, avoid, stay in, clean. Boring, isn't it? Tiresome, dull, annoying.

Stop looking in at your world and try looking out at the natural world. There are birds in the most concrete of neighborhoods. But what you may not have noticed is that these birds are busy building nests, feeding young, teaching them to fly.

You don't have to go to forests, woodlands, parks to see birds. They are all around us. There is no doubt a house sparrow nesting somewhere around your dwelling. Take a few minutes to watch it fly, forage, feed. At a minimum, you will stop thinking about your restricted life and see something new. You might even learn something - life doesn't stop just because you are locked up in your home. Nature is living its lives everywhere. You just have to look out.
